Smartphones, iPhones, iPods, digital devices, apps– we can’t escape technology no matter where we look these days. Now, anyone can look to the ‘Apps’ furniture collection and see the resemblance of their favorite piece of technology.
Created by Richard Hutten, the ‘Apps’ furniture line consists of sofas and chairs (or as they are so affectionately referred to as 1.0 and 2.0) in the rounded edge shaped icons and screens of smartphones. The internal structure of the sofa consists of wood, while the rest of the comfort is dictated by back webbing and a thick layered foam seat; both classic and contemporary.
