It’s not often that a historical style building gets an add on that completely transforms the space into something so updated and professional whilst still giving off the presence of the past history created. The hillside addition is a gorgeous space in a perfect setting of the Bouctot-Vagniez Town Hall in Amiens, France.
The exterior facade has greenery growing all around without an overbearing ivy feel, and chartier-corbasson architectes headed the design of it all. Direct sunlight was something to be relatively blocked out, but it’s got all of the office essentials– meeting rooms, reception, and an auditorium.
