This prestigious and smart Manhattan apartment is one that not only plays with a rooftop garden, but also operates on an interior garden that separates the few public and private spaces this posh art-based home has. Joel Sanders Architect designed this ingenious home that vertically links two living gardens.

Downstairs a bed of greenery surrounds the staircase that leads up to the roof garden complete with a soft bed of “walkable carpet” and a quiet seating area for reflection, conversation or reading. The overall material palette used is mainly eco-friendly, recycled products and the whole result is a gorgeous display of design.
