The design and principle of the Geodesic dome has been around for quite some time, and while Buckmister Fuller was the father behind this amazing architectural creation; others have followed in his footsteps in order to create greener structures.
A Norwegian family has also taken such a keen interest in the Geodesic dome design that their latest home design is centered around a solar powered structure in the shape of Fuller’s classic design. Architect Bengt Warnes created the ‘corn cob house’ that keeps their overall structure warm in the winter, and cool in summer months. Ventilation and overall carbon footprint were also factored into the overall design of this beautifully green home.
