Ukranian architect and designer Sergey Makhno is known for the linear, contemporary works that we see in a great majority of the firm’s projects– and this weekend getaway is no different. Built with a heavy exterior and a warm, welcoming wood lined interior in many parts– this vacation home is one that we could definitely get used to.
This two story, two bedroom home houses a large concrete fireplace and hearth, custom kitchen and the private spaces are just as detail oriented with a loft style library atop the second floor. The outdoor entertaining space is a sight to be seen as well. Encapsulated by crisp green grass and an overhang that’s perfect for rainy days– this space couldn’t get any better.
