Japanese architect and artist Yoshimasa Tsutsumi has been involved at the creation and art installation of “Digit” featuring Diesel’s new home collection. The showcase, currently on display at the Diesel Art Gallery in Shibuya, features a creative approach to the way furniture sits against walls.
This creative approach takes the standard ‘wall’ as we know it, and transforms the idea into 10,000 paper pipes that are square in nature. These pipe shaped structures are somewhat loose, and take shape once an object is set up against them. This is an interesting way to look at space in general– even if our walls can’t mould themselves.

See the display, curated by Masaaki Takahashi up until February 17, 2013.
