Sid Lee Architecture is always coming up with a design concept that translates beautifully into a physical design; and their Quebec space for Balnéa Spa is a tranquil slice of heaven come to life. Daniel and Stéphanie Émond (also owners of the Bota Bota Spa) utilized their trusted architecture firm of choice to complete another stunning project.
SLA defined the concept behind this space “to engage itself with the surrounding nature by creating a symbiotic experience between the user, the lake and mountains that compose the southern horizon.” The design looks very much like a home– but the interior takes you far away from whatever home associations you may have. Retreat spaces, sauna, café, whirlpools and turkish baths included– Balnéa Spa’s details weren’t overlooked what-so-ever.
