There’s nothing that gets people enticed more than some neon lighting and clean, futuristic lines. That must’ve been the look that Metropolis was going for when they created the concept for the Peruvian University of the Pacific. With a front facade that looks like something out of the movie “Tron,” the interior is just as clean and bright.
But the rectilinear forms from the exterior facade fade as the inside turns to nothing but organic shapes and levels mixed with subtle linear hints. The lecture rooms on this campus take a complete different route with integrated wood paneling and softer finishes to keep things a little less stark in an actual learning environment.
