If there’s one thing that we love, it’s seeing the beauty of something that’s old with a ton of character be brought back to life with a new and exciting approach or purpose. That’s exactly what happened to The Cement Factory in Barcelona when Ricardo Bofill got a hold of it.
Though it may seem like a vast undertaking, Ricardo’s 33,000 square foot project turned into a lush oasis in the Spanish city, with multiple areas designated for various purposes. There are architectural offices, an apartment with guest rooms, and even an exhibition/gallery space for the multitude of Bofill’s works.
The combination of marble, wood, draperies and multi-facets going on is truly a feast for the eyes. Via: Enpundit
