This Canada based vacation home might look like just another rectilinear structure from the outside– but it’s clearly a structure comprised of boxes unlike any other. Located in the Laurentian Mountains near Quebec, the Lac Superieur Residence is certainly a retreat for vacationers to escape the stresses of daily life.
Designed by Saucier + Perrotte, everything is stark and clean on the inside, while the outside carries on the architectural excitement and colored lighting at night. There are simple lines that radiate throughout, without any unnecessary clutter taking away from the views that encapsulate this very structure. The concrete portions that are on the outside carry through some of the interior and the cored pieces give it just a little bit of spice that the architecture might lack.
