If there’s even a way to be discreet about this giant, lone-standing office in Spain– the SGAE Offices are it. Constructed by Ensamble Studio out of a whole lot of carefully placed boulders, the offices (similar to America’s RIAA) are neatly located within the interestingly ancient looking structure.
It is a giant commercial space, with over 32,000 overall square feet. This space is divvied up into four separate areas over four floors: Diffusion, Formation, Public Area and Management. There are multiple accesses from the garden and the street. There’s a wall entirely of CD’s that sandwiches between the stone exterior and cool, concrete interior to diffuse the various spaces. The exterior is comprised of Mondariz Grey stone, with pieces being pulled straight from the overage at the quarry.
