Israel’s House K is one home that towers over most, and the aerial view is an enticing one at that. A concrete exterior combined with wood wrapping around the overhang adds detail to carry through the space, and the interior is just as interestingly industrial with a warm feel.
Built in 2012, this space is new and the concept behind designer Auerbach Halevy Architect’s eyes is even more new, most likely. A secluded front door and industrial style outdoor lighting and facade materials make this space to look more commercialized– but the wood wrapping and major glazing keep the overall look very much home oriented. Outdoor lounge furniture also makes for a cozier feeling.
