Though it’s now likely a ‘House in Disguise’ as the dmvA Architecten called it, the beginnings of this home in Belgium started with a facade that was prepped and ready for local flora and greenery to grow on it.
The 3100 square foot home is situated on a woodsy plot that required an ‘unpretentious design’ of the hilly country, and its visual depiction is a simple, oblong form with porthole inspired windows. It’s placed on a sloping angle that integrates just beautifully, receding back into nature. After being built close to a year ago, we imagine that the deciduous plants have taken over the exterior to completely camouflage it within nature.
