Girona, Spain is home to some of the most peaceful and interesting looking landscape to live in. The House at Costa Brava exemplifies contemporary living on the water’s edge yet slightly tucked away in the trees.

Designed by Jordi Garcés, sunlight and views were an integral part of this residence’s programming; along with a fabulous library and a rooftop garden that allows for some circular plots of plants and flowers in the spring.

The infinity edge pool overlooks the clear blue water of Costa Brava, and the master suite is located just near this, with grand doors that open out into the dreamy views of the town and beach. But it might be the two-story library above all that really takes our breath away.
