
This year’s Russian Pavilion has got one of the more exciting venues of this year’s exhibit, and the giant Quick Respond (QR) codes are an interactive display of technology meets art in the fully functional room filled with floor to ceiling codes.
There are multiple rooms in this La Biennale Russian pavilion, and one of which that has the exploratory codes is integrated with smartphone technology to provide users with a sense of mystery, investigation and certainly had mixed opinions overall. It’s been noted that upon arrival, viewers are given a tablet and asked to scan each code in order to discover the plans for a new Moscow city of science.
