
It’s always interesting to take a look at the fresh, new and exciting projects from architects and designers alike. But have you ever wondered what’s happening to all of the old abandoned buildings that were once such beautiful spaces? French photographer AurĂ©lien Villette takes us on a tour of the visually pleasing (yet unfortunate) scenes that are abandoned architecture pieces.
Her works range from industrial to residential with a great eye and focus for the dilapidated, wallpaper peeling spaces that really help to capture the essence of just how long some of these places have gone without a little bit of TLC and elbow grease. Columns are rotting away, metal is rusting beyond reparation and concrete crumbling everywhere.
