Computer Parts Turned Architectural Sculpture by Franco Recchia

Posted 2 years ago by

Similar to the city made entirely out of staples, “Metropolitan Artist” Franco Recchia created his very own work of art utilizing old and worn out computer parts. By taking the now useless varying parts and pieces and combining them into different groupings, Recchia was able to make things look city-like.

These architectural models (if you will), resemble many of today’s popular cities– and the variances in the computer parts make it all the more interesting to look at from city to city. Circuit boards, processors and other mechanical parts play a huge role in the construction of these pieces. The models even look somewhat similar to other places that we’ve come across in the past– and the models are each set on something of interest as well.
