The Candy Factory Lofts in Toronto were the first of its kind as far as repurposing projects go in the North, and this 2700 square foot penthouse is a prime example of renovations done right. Created out of the old Candy Factory in Canada, the West Queen West Arts District is home to these amazing industrial lofts.
Johnson Chou Architects created the plan for renovation, and the finished product is outstanding. The finishes all high end, the mixture of clean white and timber is on point, and the furnishings are minimal enough to where the structure stands out. The staircase emulates climbing a tree with a birdcage-esque design, and the upstairs is all light and airy with a sun deck that has a mass calming effect.
