Baby beds are those particular pieces of furniture where there’s never a whole lot of variety unless you’ve got an unlimited budget– and not everything is completely compatible in an ultra-contemporary home. Situations like this deserve the Bubble Bed by Lana Agiyan.
Crafted out of acrylic plastic (which is widely used in children’s medical supplies), the cradle like bed slightly rocks at all sides. Ultimately it returns to the upright position with a plexiglas weight located in the bottom center of the bed. The mattress portion is green, with a wool covering and buckwheat hull inserts which are hypoallergenic and firm enough for face down newborns to lay.
