Inspiration lies everywhere, but sometimes it is in the isolated places that we find our best creativity coming out to play. This art exhibition gallery/studio located in Greece is situated on a giant plot of land and is isolated enough for a creative mind to go to work.
Designed by A31 Architecture, this space is one giant loft that’s shaped like a giant archway; resemblant of a barn. Though the home is only feet away from the artist’s creative den, the 43,000 square foot lot is helpful in separating home life from the necessary evils of a creative mind.
A31 created the space around their design philosophy that fit right in with the client’s needs. The space is comprised of “simple forms, pure lines and unobstructed spaces, suitable to the needs of particular landscapes.” That’s certainly accurate considering the barren landscape surrounding the vast space.
