6,000 Lightbulbs Make Up The Interactive ‘Incandescent Cloud’

Caitlind r.c. Brown is the creative mind behind the “Incandescent Cloud” art piece that was featured in Calgary, Canada. Comprised of over 6,000 incandescent lightbulbs, this piece of work is not only interesting to look at from a distance– but it’s an interactive installation as well.
Each of the thousands of bulbs is connected to a pull string switch, so passersby are able to turn on and off their bulbs of choice. It’s slightly simliar looking to a cloud with falling rain cascading out of it. Watch the video below to see the “Incandescent Cloud” in full effect.
