Whimsically Colorful Bulgarian Snail House

Homes are all a reflection of our personal selves, and sometimes there comes a point when those homeowners who are extremely eccentric begin to want to shine more. Que the whimsical “Snail House” located in Bulgaria, where architect Simeon Simeonov (hopefully) resides. What first started as a more “green” initiative has now become a coming collection of strange homes, and surprisingly, everything seen on this house has a purpose.
Though it may look like something out of an Outsider Art book, this snail home is one that’s not easily forgotten. There are detailed chimneys (the ladybug and bee), ventilation systems, a garage and the front door is painted like the ‘mouth’ of the snail.
