The Contemporary Water Tower House at Brasschaat

Crepain Binst Architecture created an interestingly contemporary home out of a water tower in Antwerp, Belgium. It is a newly created 6 story bachelor pad that’s located on a manor’s estate.

Without a need for the old water tower, an ambitious team took on the task of repurposing an old part of the town into a dwelling. So what was once an eyesore turned into a beautified piece of architecture that’s very industrial on the inside, complete with a whole slew of stairs to make it all the way up to the 6th floor.

The exterior is surrounded by glazing that helps to keep prying eyes out, but certainly lets the light shine through. A wondrously exquisite place out of what could have been a torn down, useless building.
