Flash floods, swarming locusts, refuge after a disaster, who knows what else– but if the elements are coming for you design studio Woods Bagot has got you covered. The design for “Cocoon” is one that is supposed to be a temporary relief shelter for those sticky situations where there may not be a whole lot of time to get out, but if you’ve got time to put together this quick fix; this could be a great solution for you.
There is a wooden spine made out of flexible type wood, with a netting, plastic, or whatever is suitable for the moment overlay to protect you from mother nature (to a certain extent). It comes flat packed and goes up with little no tools at all.
