Urban environments typically have a great understanding at what works in a night time hotspot. This particular location of Bar Soba in Glasgow has got it all on point, down to the lightbulbs. The dark and moody vibe of this bar is filled with graffiti and pops of color, designed by Skarinish Studio.
Shown below is the Byres Road location which opened in January of 2012, with its Pan-Asian styled cuisine and inspired art. Of course there are reds and yellows interjected to the color scheme that mainly consists of black and white. The booths are of the tufted variation in a high-shine black, and the tables are rustic with raw materials strategically placed throughout the space. A must visit when you’re in Glasgow.
