The gorgeously simple Emigration Canyon Residence was designed and constructed by Sparano + Mooney Architecture, and at 2500 square feet, it’s not overly large– but arranged ever so perfectly atop the canyon just near Salt Lake City, Utah.
Though the exterior looks similar to that of reptile scales, it’s comprised of recycled steel shingle cladding that turn a deep rust color to match the foliage colors of fall. Just as any other family, the residents of this Utah based house opted for plenty of flexibility in their plan. They’ve got a multi-use space that provides an area for a home office, art studio or playroom for the kids.
