Bridges can be overlooked at times as far as creativity as far a design standpoint goes, but typically not an architectural one. This design for the Xiying Rainbow Bridge has accomplished creativity in both.
Located in Magong, Taiwan, this beautiful piece is a soft curved bridge that is lined at the understructure with neon strips of light in various colors. Floating above a large body of water, these neon lights illuminate the water at night creating a rainbow effect.
The pedestrian walkway is also a gorgeous sight to see during the day as well, although it’s the night time that really steals the show.
