What was once located in Chiba, Japan and known as “House O” was destroyed in the previously devastating tsunami in Japan, March of 2011. But the gorgeous photography still showcases the amazing structure that once lay on the rocky shores of Chiba.
Designed by the legendary Sou Fujimoto, House O was a structure shaped like something you would see in science, but the juxtaposition of the angular juts placed within the natural setting was seemingly satisfactory. At a total of just under 1400 square feet, House O was a beautifully glass encased space on the water’s edge with natural materials and a serene setting within.
