Upcycling old everyday items into something beautiful is a common thing these days, but at times there are some installations that are simply striking. Creators Spencer Topel and Soo Sunny Park came up with “Capturing Resonance” which is a sparkling end result.
Park incorporated thousands of iridescent plexiglas squares into an old, reused chainlink fence that not only transmits and reflects, but it takes and refracts the light that bounces off of the various shapes and forms taking place on the ceiling.
Titled “Capturing Resonance” Spencer Topel (composer) also has music that plays in the space “varying in tone and intensity based on the movement of the viewer and the number of people present.”
