Blast From The Past: Airstream Trailer Turned Greenroom

Austin, Texas may not be the booming design capital of the states; but the city in the South really does have some insightful individuals that get it right. Baldridge Architects of Austin created an amazing greenroom out of an old and run down airstream trailer in a very limited time frame of just 3 weeks.

Now dubbed the “Stubbs Greenroom,” the space is a fantastic little carved out nook out back of the Stubb’s City Limits Festival area in 2011, and the inspiration for the renovation of the 70′s style trailer was that of a “modern day I Dream of Jeannie.” The interior paneling is lined all the way around of mahogany veneer to show off the amazing curvature of the structure; and the other interior elements include a bar, lounge and tv.
