LEED accreditation can be an important thing if you are looking to have the smallest carbon footprint possible. There are various ratings and a strenuous point system involved, but even this very large library to the tune of 22,500 square feet was able to achieve Silver status.
Adjaye Associates was finally able to see the library’s doors open this June, when it all became official. Named the Francis Gregory Library, users can go at any time of year to explore, and the canopy above it all helps with whatever elements are thrown your way.
