Pixelated Front Office Building by Studio 505

Studio 505 is at it again, and this time they’ve got a different building facade going on in Melbourne, Australia. Noted as the “Pixel” building, this office space has got a truly unique identity in its urban landscape. The colorful pieces are made up of ‘pixels’ on metal louvres all around the outside; its claim to fame.

The whole exterior of the building is comprised of Living Edge perimeter planters, along with plenty of fixed shading louvers, and don’t forget the double glazed window walls and solar panel shading, too. It’s Australia’s first “carbon neutral” building– and these elements all help make that possible.
