The city of Marion in Australia is home to a gorgeous and well versed cultural center, courtesy of ARM Architects.
The building has got the word ‘Marion’ into the facade and external features of the building, an interesting concept that gives each and every visitor something unified to injest. There are a lot of green features incorporated to the building as well, including: “solar hot water system, water efficient fixtures and fittings, energy efficient artificial lighting, low energy evaporative systems and economy cycle air conditioning ̶ even the external landscaping is low maintenance and water efficient.”
The cultural centers’ interior boasts a library, art gallery, a multi-function performance space, cafe and meeting rooms for the local residents and tourists alike. A cultural and informational place that would be fun to visit; who would’ve thought!
