With small spaces making a comeback in design popularity and the rising cost of space in San Francisco continues– Panoramic Interests has created a concept for some small city living homes called “SmartSpace” in the city’s South of Market district.
Set to be one of the few LEED Platinum Certified buildings, SmartSpace won’t be skimping on some of the modern day luxuries that we all might take for granted these days. With a total of 300 cubic feet of storage (aka living space), 9 foot ceilings, built in washer/dryer units, you may not even notice that the 4 story building residences are lacking in overall square footage.
But what you can’t make up in square feet is made better by the low flow fixtures, solar water heating, upgraded finishes and sustainable landscaping.
