Hidden Swiss Display Garage By Peter Kunz

A true collector loves to show off his prized possessions, and for the most part the same goes for those who collect automobiles. Though typically– in order to show off prized rides they’ve got to be seen on the road. Architect Peter Kunz created a garage that allows those fancy rides to be seen without having to be out on the open road.

Conveniently dubbed “garagenatelier” (essentially garage workshop) these cars have a home that’s all their own in the green mountains of Herdern Switzerland. They are all showcased in concrete cubes with glass fronts, looking out into the beautiful landscape. Only a portion of the cube is seen from the exterior with the sloped terrain providing a natural juxtaposition against the concrete and greenery. Inside is much more than one would think– actually housing up to 8 cars.
