Innovative designer Merve Kahraman has created a fun and whimsical design for armchairs, and he calls them “Hybrids.” Based on mythological parahumans, the Hybrid No1 and No2 are interestingly detailed seats for the non-traditionalist.
Hybrid No1 features an ivory hair covered chair complete with a giant set of velveteen lined rabbit ears and nailhead trim around the classic frame. Hybrid No2 is a little more involved, complete with a set of antlers and a spotted hide on the seat and seat back.
The entirely handmade chair merges into one with its owner and there are different finishes available for the really eccentric owner.
