It’s not often that there’s a completely glass encased home happening, but it appears that Thomas Phifer and his partners found an interesting solution to a waterfront house. Built in 2009 on Fishers Island, New York, this home has a seriously open layout, a meticulously cared for landscape, and a simply stunning overall layout.
Phifer and partners created the home so as not to obstruct from the great sights that the home has to offer; from the landscape to the breathtaking water shores. An oversized metal canopy-like awning stretches over the entire home and extends outward to allow for shade on sides of the large rectangular home. A gorgeously simple design with jaw dropping results.
