Athens Based ‘Sweet Alchemy’ Pastry Shop

Kois Architecture created a great concept for a premiere pastry shop located in Athens, Greece. A different look than we are used to seeing for bakeries and dessert oriented places, Sweet Alchemy exudes a richness in materials and ingredients that’s rarely seen.

There are so many natural materials used– including copper, granite, wood and mixed metals. Light was an important factor in the programming stages of design, with the shadows and mood of within the space changing with each point in the day; keeping things unique at every turn. Ingredients are displayed beautifully and neatly out in the open– compartmentalized and clean with a contemporary intricacy.
