We all know how the saying goes. Everything is bigger in Texas. It’s not often that you hear about something super small in the grandiose state, until you’ve seen this. A 320 square foot house located in Marfa, TX and it’s so small that it’s called the ’10×10.’
Candid Rogers Architecture was the mastermind behind this small, yet intricate project and the result is a great achievement for both user and architect. The upstairs is larger in footprint than the lower level, with a good portion being cantilevered out over the understructure; creating a shaded area for that West Texas heat.
It’s minimalism in every sense of the word, and a beautiful sight to behold at that.
