Wood Paneled Lakeshore Residence by Archibald Buro

We’ve always had quite a soft spot for Lakeshore Houses which is why we melted over the beautifully designed dwelling from the team at the Berlin based studio of Archibald Buro.
Led by the principal of the team Katrin Oggesen, the project was recently completed in 2009. The home is located in an area known as the “Wildpark West” outside of Potsdam, which is the capital city of the German federal state of Brandenburg. The contemporary two story home spans roughly 2,600 square feet and is covered in massive wooden plates on the exterior that were fabricated by Finnforest in the German Schwarzwald.
