This beautiful Small House project has won itself several awards in the past few years including the World House of the Year at the 2011 World Architectural Festival award ceremony held in Barcelona, and you’ll see why after taking a closer look.
The home was designed by Domenic Alvaro of the Woods Bagot Sydney studio for the architect himself. Being located on a lot that is only 452 square feet tall, the team decided that building vertically was the best utilization of space. The corner lot is located in Sydney, Australia in a suburb known as Surry Hills, and towers 5 stories tall. The home uses modern and contemporary design elements, and is finished off with a beautiful garden atop the fifth level.
