Japan is home to some of the most incredible architecture on the planet, both commercial and residential alike. One of our personal favorites in the residential department is the magnificent Japanese Shell House.
With that being said it comes as no surprise that we immediately fell in love with the equally impressive Crescent House from the Japanese firm at Shigeru Ban Architects. The home is located in the villas of South Hakone of Shizuoka, Japan and gets its name from the arcing C-shaped silhouette. The home takes on a modern, minimalist interior with massive windows alongside a balcony that line the property offering unrivaled views of the lush green landscape that surrounds the dwelling.
