It’s no secret that 9 out of 10 times the most creative design concepts originate from the smallest spaces, and that it looks like that saying rings true once again with the latest project from the team at ECDM Architects.
The team was given the task of creating a bedroom for the owner of this 538 square foot apartment. With such a small space, an addition like this would more than likely be ruled out by most design teams, but ECDM decided that a suspended bedroom loft was the solution to this problem. Showcasing the perfect blend of both form and function, the owner now has a private bedroom secluded from the main space. Named the Appartement chez Valentin, the project was completed back in 2005, and is located in Montrouge, France.
