There’s nothing quite like sustainable design and architecture. Giving otherwise discarded materials a second life can be the best way to go green on your next design project. This is exactly what Santa Monica based firm David Hertz Architects had in mind when they created the incredible Wing House project.
This contemporary home is built using parts from an old Boeing 747 airplane. The home features plenty of roaming space around it seeing that it was built on a 55 acre lot in the hills of one of southern California’s most pricey areas, Malibu. The entire roof of the residence is comprised of the planes’ wings. There are panoramic views of the hills and mountains found throughout the entire property.
