Utilizing Brazil’s Indian architecture as inspiration, the stunning Leaf House is truly a spectacle. The home is located close to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in Angra dos Reis.
This massive dwelling spans over 8,600 square feet, and as you may have guessed by the name the entire home is shaped like a giant 6 pedal leaf. The pedals are actually functional as well, providing shade for the enclosed spaces from the beaming sunshine that comes down in this area of the world. As you can imagine the residence also features plenty of high ceilings ranging anywhere from 3 to 9 meters. This unconventional home was designed by Mareines + Patalano Arquitetura, and even features its own private boat dock.
