Shipping containers continue to be a popular choice in the world of design and architecture as we encounter this captivating shipping container house by Studio H:T.
The residence was built by combining two shipping containers to create one household. The facade was then decorated beautifully as to not expose the shipping container inner workings. This sustainable household implements sustainable practices including solar orientation, passive cooling, green roofs, pellet stove heating and photovoltaics to create electricity. The modest home resides in Nederland, Colorado, and spans about 1,517 square feet. The project was recently completed in May of 2010.
