Contemporary Cape Town Tree House

The Cape Town based design firm Van Der Merwe Miszewski Architects have taken the meaning of tree house to a whole new level with their latest project.
Trees are extremely precious in Africa, providing shade and shelter from natural elements such as the African heat. This is exactly why the studio decided to built this house completely engulfed in the surrounding trees, truly being one with nature. The three story contemporary home is located in a wealthy community within a wealthy community of City Bowl known as Higgovale, and spans just under 2,500 square feet in size.
