After setting out to complete a project that never quite came to fruition, Rockafeller Partners Architects pivoted nicely creating the Banyan Treehouse.
The California based design studio recently completed the stunning project just a few years ago in 2009. The treehouse studio is only 172 square feet, but feels quite roomy due to the fact that it is essentially one large open space with a divider used for the toilet. The design team even built a shower outside of the treehouse that provides plenty of privacy while still allowing occupants to be at one with nature. The treehouse is located in Hollywood Hills, California, more precisely in Nichols Canyon.
