The Portabello Estate made quite a bit of noise on the real estate scene when the massive residence hit the market with a price tag of $75 million. Of course the home didn’t end up selling for that $75 million, in fact it sold for less than half at $34.1 million.
Those familiar with the area know that although the Portabello Residence resides in Corona Del Mar, a luxury community within Newport Beach, California, the home itself was located within a rather unassuming neighborhood. The homes surrounding the Portabello Residence are very nice, but it definitely sticks out like a sore thumb. The home spans 22,000 square feet, and features 8 bedrooms, ten bathrooms, five half bathrooms, and of course the two stunning saltwater pools outback with surrounded by grotto cliffs. The inside of the home is nothing short of breathtaking, with a 2 lane bowling alley, movie theatre equipped with ticket booth, automotive museum, and much more.
