The Green Grass Carpet in French Village of Jaujac

Just like the red carpet treatment we have become familiar with here in the states, Gaëlle Villedary created this beautiful green carpet treatment running through the French Village of Jaujac .

The carpet utilizes 3.5 tons of natural material spanning over 1,400 feet through the old town. The project was developed to connect the heart of the village to the valley’s rich natural settings while celebrating the French village’s 10 year anniversary of its art and nature trail programs. The path itself is described as a “piece of nature designed to create a communion between nature and man through art.”
